The Shafer Art Gallery is hosting Part One of its Marvelous Mask Making Workshop from 10 a.m.-noon Sept. 24 with Part Two to follow from 10 a.m.-noon on Oct. 15. Participants will meet in the Shafer Art Gallery and then proceed to classroom T-145 where they will create paper mache masks based on animals. This event comes just in time for Halloween.
Ages 5 and up are welcome, with supervision required for children under 11. Space is limited, so call (620) 792-9242 or message the Shafer Art Gallery on Facebook to register by Sept. 23. All materials are provided at the event; a donation of $5 is suggested.
