Tickets for the Barton Foundation’s 39th Annual Big Benefit Auction themed “Under the Sea” on Aug. 26 are available July 17 until Aug. 14. Tickets are $45 each or $360 per table of eight. Doors open at 6 p.m. at the Great Bend Columbus Club with bidding on the silent auction and complimentary beer available until 8 p.m. Dinner is served at 7 p.m. and the live auction will begin promptly at 8 p.m. No one under 21 admitted.
The Big Benefit Auction is the most successful and longest running fundraiser for the Barton Foundation. The money raised from the event supports academic scholarships, along with enhancements to programs and facilities which directly impact the learning experience of Barton students.
Coleen Cape, Executive Director of Institutional Advancement encourages everyone to buy their tickets early – as no tickets are sold at the door. Only 200 tickets are available.
“I am so excited by the quality and uniqueness of the items being donated this year,” Cape said. “The auction is truly a community event and would not be possible if not for the generosity and support of local businesses and individuals.”
Tickets can be purchased by calling the Barton Foundation office at (620) 792-9306 or by sending an email to mccormickd@bartonccc.edu.
