The Barton Planetarium will feature movies utilizing the full-dome projection system throughout the spring semester. The Planetarium is located in the Science Building. Enter through the sliding doors on the north side. Admission is free.
Each movie will be followed by a live presentation by Barton’s Planetarium Director Dr. Tim Folkerts. The presentations will feature a tour of the night sky, hands-on activities or actual outdoor stargazing.
Shows run from 7-8 p.m. on the following dates:
1/26/15 – “Our Moon”
2/9/15 – “Backyard Stargazing”
2/23/15 – “Light and Telescopes”
3/9/15 – “Solar System”
3/23/15 – “Rockets, Satellites and Space Exploration”
4/6/15 – “Ancient Astronomers”
4/20/15 – “Exoplanets”
5/4/15 – “Cosmology”
