Barton Community College is offering Beginning Guitar (MUSI 1000) from 4:30-5:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting Oct. 10 in room F111. The class will be taught by experienced guitar player Curtis Oberle.
Curtis started playing guitar professionally in bands at the age of 16 and gained experience with a variety of stringed instruments including bass, banjos, ukuleles, mandolins and more. Curtis has also played guitar for the Kansas City Chiefs band and national traveling Broadway shows including “Shrek the Musical” and “The Lion King.”
Curtis has taught guitar through private lessons and at the college level at KSU and Park University.
