Barton Community College will host a school bus, defensive driving, and CPR training course July 21-24.

This comprehensive, week-long program equips individuals to become certified school bus drivers or strengthen their transportation safety skills.

Participants will complete Class B CDL theory, earn school bus and passenger endorsements, and receive an AAA Defensive Driving certification along with CPR and first aid training.

The program costs $849. All participants must arrive on the first day with a CDL learner’s permit, a valid DOT physical card, and proof of a negative drug test. Final testing will take place on July 25.
