Start Strong. Transfer with Confidence.
Physician assistants (PAs) are highly trained healthcare professionals who work closely with physicians to diagnose illnesses, develop treatment plans, perform procedures, and prescribe medications. As frontline providers in a variety of settings—including hospitals, clinics, and primary care—PAs are essential to expanding access to quality medical care.
If you’re drawn to science, problem-solving, and helping others, becoming a physician assistant offers a dynamic and impactful career path. With an aging population and increasing demand for healthcare services, PAs are in high demand across the country. The profession is known for its excellent job prospects, strong earning potential, and a balanced work-life schedule.
Barton’s Pre-Professional Physician Assistant program is designed to help you complete the prerequisite science and general education courses needed for transfer into a PA graduate program, while also meeting the requirements for a Barton degree.
Please note: This degree track does not include clinical training and does not result in a professional credential. It is designed to prepare you for successful transfer into an accredited program.
