STEM Grants at Barton
FHSU-Noyce Grant
Funded by the NSF, the Noyce Grant is for student who want to teach in a STEM field at the secondary (junior high/high school) level in an underserved school. A student attends Barton and participates in Barton STEM Club, applies to Fort Hays State University (FHSU) for their junior year and also applies for the Noyce Scholarship. The Noyce Scholarship completely pays for the tuition and fees for an entire academic year at FHSU. A student can reapply for the scholarship their senior year. A student can get their last two years completely paid for at FHSU through this grant opportunity and FHSU guarantees at least one scholarship for a Barton student transfer.
