Barton’s Information services team is working to organize our institution with the tools and technology improvements needed to be able to serve students successfully, simplify enrollment and provide support remotely.  This task requires some scheduled maintenance.  Banner, Paws, and Degreeworks will be impacted.

The following dates will be used for scheduled maintenance:

Saturday, July 11, 2020 - midnight to 8:00 a.m.

Saturday, July 18, 2020 - midnight to 8:00 a.m.

Saturday, July 25, 2020 - midnight to noon

The Shafer Art Gallery will host a virtual introduction for a pair of exhibits, “Exquisite Miniatures,” by Rachelle and Wes Siegrist and “Transmogrifications,” by Brian Hutchinson from 6:30 – 7 p.m., July 9 via facebook.com/shafergallery. The exhibits will run through August 22. Admission is free.

Barton Community College has named 284 students to the President’s List for the spring 2020 semester. To qualify for this honor, students must have been enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours and maintained a grade point average of 4.0 on a 4.0 or "A" letter scale.

Barton English Instructor Michael Vick recently had an article published in “Innovation Abstracts” magazine by the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD).
