Barton German Instructor Stephanie Schottel’s article “Five Ways to Make Your Online Foreign Language Content More Brain-Friendly” was recently published in “Innovation Abstracts” magazine by the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD). NISOD is a membership organization committed to promoting and celebrating excellence in teaching, learning, and leadership at community and technical colleges.

The Academic Enrichment Fund (AEF) Campaign is one of the Barton Community College Foundation’s most significant annual fundraising efforts. The campaign runs throughout March and is unique because it allows donors to specialize their gift by choosing which department or fund they would like to benefit from their generosity. All the donations are used for academic scholarships and program enhancements. There is no minimum donation amount.

Nurses who graduate from the Barton Licensed Practical Nurse program will now have an extra skillset to make them more valuable in the workforce; they have the option to be IV certified.

Activities and all classes at Barton Community College's Barton County campus are canceled and offices will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, February 16, due to weather.
