The drought monitor report as of Tuesday, May 2 indicates continued expansion of exceptional drought in our area, and slight improvement in parts of Northwest and Southwest Kansas from exceptional to extreme and even small areas severe.
Barton Community College’s 53rd commencement is set for 7 p.m. Friday, May 12, in the Barton Gymnasium. The ceremony will also be live streamed via the Barton Facebook and YouTube pages.
