Barton Community College is hosting auditions for its dance company, Barton Dance Theatre, and dance scholarship awards from 10 a.m.- 11:30 a.m. Feb. and March 25 and May 13 in Studio 34 on the Barton campus.
Barton Theatre Department will present its adaptation of the sci-fi classic “R.U.R. - Rossum’s Universal Robots,” by Karel Capek at 7:30 p.m. March 2,3, 9, 10, and 11 and at 2 p.m. March 4 and 11 in the Fine Arts Auditorium. The Shafer Art Gallery will unveil its next exhibit “Ethereality,” by Hoisington artist Rodney Wood with a reception at 6:30 p.m. March 3, featuring a short artist talk, comments by the director, and light refreshments. Admission is free.
