In 2021 Barton shifted to the Noel Levitz (NL) survey tool from the former CCSSE tool due to the customizable features. We will conduct surveys every other year.

Creativity can happen at any age and members of Barton’s Dancing for Mobility class will showcase that during a performance titled “Love Letters in Motion,” at 7 p.m. Sept. 8 in the Shafer Gallery, which will include uplifting music, live artwork and an interactive portion for the audience. The Barton Library’s Cohen Center for Kansas History holds a wealth of preserved historical documents, books, as well as other resources and is celebrating a grand reopening ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 9 in the Barton Library located in the center of campus.
The Barton Community College Theatre Department will hold auditions for its fall production of the bone-chilling thriller “The Thin Place,” by Lucas Hnath August 24-26 from 5-9 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium.
Barton accepts transfer credit earned at regionally and nationally accredited colleges in the United States. Transfer credits will be accepted from colleges and universities starting from the year they are accredited or hold candidacy status with their accrediting agencies. Non-accredited institutions are subject for review by the Registrar.

The Central Kansas Community Choir (CKCC) is recruiting singers for the fall 2022 season. Rehearsals will be held from 7-9 p.m. Monday evenings starting Sept. 12 at the First United Methodist Church in Great Bend.
